Michael
Georgakopoulos
Michael founded Satori Analytics back in 2015. He was born
in Athens but has spent most of his academic and
professional years in London as a mathematical modeller and
management consultant. He holds a distinction MSc in
Operational Research from the London School of Economics.
Before founding Satori, Michael was working with
organisations such as British Airways, Royal Air Force,
Singapore Health Services and the Government Operational
Research Service, leading the delivery of data-centric and
innovative solutions. He is an avid basketball fan, loves to
write about pretty much everything, and is a passionate
adversary of bad grammar, typos, and poor design.

Chief Technology Officer
Mark
Ransome
Mark has more certifications than we can count and we are
proud to have him lead our tech teams and constantly push
our innovation boundaries. He has more than 25 years of
experience in IT and data-centric project delivery across
Europe and Australia. His role is to instill best design and
development practices to our teams. He also is in charge of
our partnerships with the leading tech vendors such as
Microsoft and AWS. Mark holds an Astronomy and Physics
degree from UCL and he is the proud father of two. He loves
jamming and is a proud fan of Norwich City.

Chief Strategy Officer
Stijn
Schuermans
Stijn is an experienced product manager, strategist,
consultant and data scientist with a track record of
leadership. He holds an MEng from Katholieke Universiteit
Leuven and an MBA from AUEB. At Satori, Stijn is
spearheading our strategy and product development efforts,
as well as ensuring our delivery teams get the job done
following best practices. When he finds time between work
and his lovely family, Stijn likes to improvise and teach
other people on how to do it as well, being an Improvisation
Theater instructor.

Chief Operations Officer
Evangelos
Kamarakis
Vangelis is currently in charge of our Operations, focusing
on how our people and teams can work better, faster,
stronger to deliver value to our clients, whilst maintaining
their spirits high. He comes from a legal background, but is
a problem solver first and foremost, with proven experience
in IT, contract, data and privacy law. Vangelis joined us
after being Lead PMO at the General Secretariat of
Coordination, Presidency of the Hellenic Government. In his
free time, he ranges from being an urban DJ legend to a do
not disturb I’m reading my book sloth.

Georgiopoulos
George has more than 20 years of experience in leading
international positions of commercial responsibility in the
FMCG and Technology fields, both in multinational corporate
environments and in the startup/scaleup field. George
strongly believes that AI will have a transformative impact
on all industries and is working on multiple fronts to help
the industry make this transformation in the most
value-adding way. He's a proud father of two and an avid
singer and traveller.

Ioannis
Stavrinides
Ioannis is the Director of Engineering at Satori Analytics,
where he is responsible for leading the technology teams to
develop cutting-edge data and AI solutions at the highest
standard of delivery excellence. Before joining Satori, he
was a Senior Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft focusing
on Data, AI, ML, & IoT. His specialized expertise in
architecting sophisticated cloud solutions with Azure and
other vendors is evidenced by 20+ Data & AI Certifications.
He is a respected technical leader in South-Eastern Europe.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ioannis loves
spending time with his family, enjoys watching NFL and plays
basketball.

Kyriakos is the Head of Data Engineering at Satori and a
Senior Data Solutions Architect. With a Master's in
Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship, he brings over
13 years of experience in identifying customer pain points,
defining business requirements, and translating them into
technical designs. His work consistently leads to the
implementation of high-quality data solutions that drive
business value. In his spare time, Kyriakos enjoys traveling
and exploring new countries, as well as discovering more of
Greece.

Chatzimichali
Elena brings over 10 years of experience spanning business,
academia, and research. She holds a Ph.D. in Machine
Learning and a background in Computer Science and is
passionate about developing innovative, data-driven
solutions in industries such as financial services and
healthcare. Her expertise includes a broad range of AI
applications, specializing in Natural Language Processing
(NLP), time series forecasting, recommender systems, and
responsible AI. You can find her integrating science into
all aspects of her life, from analyzing her workout stats to
applying scientific principles in perfecting her salsa spins
and upside-down yoga poses.
